Did you know that the thing on a turkey's neck is actually called a "wattle" and not a "waddle"?? Who knew? I'll tell you who...my friend TT. Thanks to him my wife's class can now play "Pin the Wattle on the Turkey" correctly. Thank God.
So I helped skin and butcher a deer that my friend MM got bowhunting. It was a nice 6-pointer. But here's the thing. It was rutting at the time M shot him and when we started taking meat off the neck, it really smelled bad. I smell like buck pheremones. I know there are worse things to smell like (like Kaukauna), but I still smell. Oh and here's the other thing. It had a lot of ticks on him. I mean A LOT! And they were huge. I thought they were deer shit at first. My hand to God they were the size of chocolate covered raisins. So now I have to take a shower and have my wife check me for ticks...at least that's what I'm telling her.
Just FYI--I'm leaving for deer hunting myself this Friday and won't be back until Tuesday, so you'll have to find some other way to amuse yourself. Try soap...that usually works for me. It's such a whore.
