I'm back! I shot the largest deer ever! It was 12 points and.... yeah, I didn't even see anything. But of the seven tags, six have been filled. That's a lot of venison kids. I might have to have a game feed party and cook it up for those of you who want some. We took in 84 lbs of grind meat and another 102 lbs of hind leg meat that will be made into hot sticks and sausage and the like. That's A LOT of meat. Mmmmmmmm...Red meat.
Speaking of which, my digestive tract is back to normal. After five days of red meat, salty cured meat, cheese and booze, I was having a little trouble with "everything". Thank God for my friend CL's asswipe. Saved my ass quite a few times in the woods this weekend.
34 days until Christmas and I could not be more excited. The tree goes up tomorrow and we start baking tomorrow too. Just what I need, twenty-seven lbs of random chocolate laying around the house. Thank God for bulky sweater season.
