I learned some things on New Year's Eve and I thought I would share them with you:
1. Champagne + Jack Daniels do not equal the greatest combination (although I have had worse).
2. Apparently some bars actually closed at 2. (I know because then the riff-raff came in by me).
3. Two different people actually drank 3 bottles of champagne each and I am so proud of them. After one I was ready to be done with it.
4. James Waterman did not show up and that made me salty.
5. If you're still up and out drinking at 6:30, you probably don't need to be.
6. When you're hugging people at midnight (and your wife is somewhere else) watch out for Jack you might try and kiss you. I KNOW!!
7. Coffee filters do make nice hats.
8. I am still tired from the whole ordeal.
9. No one should have shots after 4 am.
10. I would be nice if food places would deliver at 7 am after a night like that.
