I have my presentation tonight for one of my night classes. I cannot wait to get this over with. One of my group members (and we all know how much I love to work in groups) is anal retentive about everything except returning emails. She wants everything right now, but won't tell you anything until the middle of the next day. It is so irritating. I mean I might take awhile to return an email (I believe I have up to one month), but not when it involves my class work and grades. Blargh! Speaking of grades, I got an A/B in my first seven week class. I guess I'll take it. It's my first non-A in the grad program though. Oh well, this too shall pass.
You know what I am sick of at work? Everyone (minus the people who read this). I had someone come in last night at 1:45 and want a glass of wine. Ok, well I called last call, but I know you, so one glass. Fine. He drinks half of it and then says, "This tastes funny. Can I get another glass?" I look at the clock, see that it is now 1:57 am and go to the cash register, take out the three bucks that he spent, put it on the counter and walk away. You want another glass at this hour?? And by the way, it's the P. I know we are the preimere bar in Osh-burg, but we are just that...a bar. We are not really known for our wine selection. Don't get me wrong, it's better than most bars in town, but come on. It's Glen Ellen for God's sake. Don't make me come over there and snap you in half little man. Blargh again!
Not really an uplifting post today. I'll try and do better next time.
