So first the bad news. I was in St. Cloud, WI visiting my sister when my head started to itch. So I ended up in the emergency room in Plymouth on Monday with an outbreak. Given some shots, and some steroids and made it back to her place. Then my sister and C went to the pharmacy in Fond el Sac and got me some Epi-Pens. Which was good, because I had to stab myself with one of them later that night. Needless to say I was fairly happy to get home the next morning, only to break out again and have to drug up on some Benadryl. That put me to sleep for about 7 hours. Then I got to get up and go to night class for 3 hours. Blargh.
Now for all the good news. The house is getting carpeting as we speak. Yeah! Everyday we get closer.
I'm back at the P on Wednesday nights. No more fat-slapper.
I have Saturday off so my wife and I can go out with JR again this weekend. No jerky though. (And I did check myself before I hurt myself and I am sorry JR).
Oh, some more bad news. No laundry has been done yet, and I am damn near out of underwear options. And I think some of us know what that means. This could get ugly. Stupid Bartlet Pears and rubber bands. I'll keep you informed.
Speaking of JR, try these: Dead Nazi (aka Hitler's Revenge) -- half Jager and half RumpleMintz
Prarie Fire -- half tequila and half tabasco
4 Corners -- Jim, Jack, Jose and Yukon Jack
1 Up and 1 Down -- Invert one shot glass and fill the dimple with lime vodka and fill an upright shot glass with lime vodka too. Snort the vodka on the shot glass and then drink the shot.
Flaming Boar Snot -- Black pepper, tabasco, and bourbon. (my own recipe).
Buffalo Water -- (or bison, I don't want to perpetuate any misnomers) All the spilled, leftover liquid in that plastic tray the bartender's mix drinks on. (Make sure you win this round).
Stop and Go Light -- There is some variation to this one, but I like to use this recipe. Three shot glasses. 1- After Shock 2--Ouzo (with some Alize for coloring) 3--Lime Vodka (nothing like mixing liquors). Slam all three in order as quick as you can.
Let me know if you need more. Glad to help in any way that I can.
