Yep, about that time again. Life has been pretty good lately. Lots of work, but I've been managing to squeeze in some fun here and there. If, however, I have to scream "MANTIES!" one more time, there may be some trouble. I went out with JR and TT and CS-McN on Saturday after work and had a very nice time at a new bar in Appleton (don't tell anyone, I actually go out to other bars), though I was rather disappointed with the beef jerkey that I was lead to believe was the Best.Jerkey.Ever. Nothing worse than being disappointed with one's beef.
Man do I love it when someone has got your back. This past weekend has been crazy for kids looking like they're 12 years old, and coming into the bar and getting pissed when I card them. GROW UP! You dirty little pant-lickers.
Which reminds me, pant-licker? Boy, if I had a rubber hose I would beat you so hard... Still no news on the supposed reunion of JW and the P. Talks continue. I will keep you informed. I am giddy with the mere prospect.
Easter was nice. I didn't quite make it to church, which has relegated me to a C+E (minus the E) Christian. Had dinner with the fam and played some games in the afternoon. Then I went to work and we had the Clambake play at the P. It was crazy busy and I made mad money. So much so that I retired. I never have to work again! (laughing manically). OK, that's not true. But it was crazy busy. Stupid Coors.
My wife is on SPRING BREAK now, which means we can relax for a week. Oh wait. It means we have something planned every damn day. I suppose it could be worse. I could have something planned every day and have to do laundry today.... Oh wait.
Last but not least, a quick shout out to BC and her little friend MSomething (sorry man, I forgot your last name). She is the new session director for the church camp I used to work for every summer and she was trying to get me to go again this year. Damn the luck if I'm not busy on whatever days camp is scheduled for.
