Where to begin?
Pez. I got a lot of new ones. Up in Michigan I got one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that I am missing. You might ask yourself, "Self, how many of them can there be?" The answer would be 64. I'm about half way there with the Turtles. Also in Michigan, I got a Donald Duck one that I may or may not have yet. All the Pez are still in boxes waiting to be displayed. Then for my anniversary, my lovely wife C got me seven new Pez. There are five new Christmas ones (Santa, snowman, reindeer, elf, and polar bear). That just makes me want it to be Christmas sooner. Then she got me the last truck that I needed (which means that I have all 36 of the trucks). Then she got me a really old Road Runner Pez. God is she great. Mmmmmmm...
So last night at the Fair. Hmm. I don't know really where to begin. Mullets galore. Every kind and every style. My favorite, besides the she-mullet, was the one where the guy had all his hair buzzed really short all over his head and then really long in the back. So long in fact that it was braided half way down to his ass. Then we went to the concert. "Don't be that guy." Roughly 25% of the people there felt they needed to wear an Alabama shirt to an Alabama concert. One lady was actually so proud of the one that she had just bought there that she had to put it on over her other shirt. Ma'am! Calm down! Then the people came to sit next to us, and I have preface this by saying that overall, it was kind of cute. (Only because she was sitting next to Chris though.) The little girl that sat down was obviouly in love with Alabama, and had an extra 23rd chromosome. Lord, did she love that band. A few times I thought Chris was going to take a hand to the face the way this little girl was clapping. Then she leaned over about 20 times and stuck her ass right in Chris' face. That was good fun. I wish I had an audio file of the way that she was screaming. Or singing. She knew a lot of the songs by heart. And even the ones that she didn't know, she still sang. I'm not sure what she was singing, but she was singing away. Again, overall fairly cute, but I think all kids should be on a leash.
Having lunch with JR today, seeing as she ditched me at the bar the other night. And there were so many people looking for you there. KP came in with his wife A. Atom was there wondering if you were stopping down. Cheryl was wondering if you were stopping in. Man, you have more friends there then I do. KP never comes out for me anymore. "...You don't send me flowers..." So everyone come on down tonight and see me. EVT is playing tonight and you can all have your chance to drool over him. I'm so sick of it. Then the Irish drunkards. Final test of N.A., a band at the P. We shall see.
I forgot about C's good news at the Fair. Three of her photo submissions placed. 1 first and 2 seconds. She's disappointed because the ones that she thought she was going to do well on, she ending up doing the worst on, but hell, she placed on half of what she submitted. Stupid Cletus. You see Cletus is the judge. And not only is he qualified to judge photography, but he also specializes/judges in Field Crops. Seems the only requirement for being a judge is a heartbeat and two good eyes (though they let you slide on that last criteria).
Finally, C got her midterm back. 2 wrong. Not too bad huh? Looks like genius runs in the family.
