The last night of the P was amazing, and my many thanks to all those that could attend and make it memorable.
Enough of that. News from the front...the kitchen has been gutted and they should be putting up the new walls today. The new beer cooler should be in place and the bar might be back together. We are refinishing the main bar a "Royal Blue" so that should look nice. The upper bars and boothes will stay red. The walls are a dark chocolate color. A bit dark, but a nice bar color (anything is better than nicotine yellow). Cheryl and Deni have offered to redo all the red doors a better color, but that is low on the list of priorities right now. Biggest news...I think he might keep the name. He's leaning that way. We'll see shortly. So slowly but surely are the words of the day. I just wish it was all done and I could be back at work. The reasons for that are two-fold. 1) It has been way too long since I've seen the gang. 2) I am butt-ass poor. (shaking fist)--IKEA!!!
Happy birthday to IP. My condolences on not being able to be there. Sounds like everyone had a good time, though I wonder what this "Pants Dancing" is all about and how I am so good at it. Someone will have to fill me in.
In other birthday news, it was just my brother's. I don't think he reads this site, but Happy Birthday anyway. Come to find out, my brother and I look a lot alike. Who knew? LBM, that's who. The whole family got together and and as always it was very nice. Except for the incedent where Hungry, Hungry Hippo was almost taken away.
In other news, I thought I would like my class this semester, but it turns out that I don't. So I have that going for me. And JW is all married and shit. I told people at the P and no one seemed to believe me. Is it possible to have a bachelor party for someone after they get married? Well we should dammit. Something with grilled hunks of flesh and lots of beer (two of JW's favorite things).
