Primero, feliz de Cinco do Mayo. I would have thought that someone who taught the language would have said something earlier, but hey...maybe they are busy. And while we're here, please remember that Cinco de Mayo is not the Mexican Independence Day, but rather an excuse to celebrate a victory over the French in a battle. That sounds mean, but I applaude them. I celebrate St. Urho's for similar reasons: a reason to drink and a disdain for the French. (sidenote: Urho's has nothing to do with the French, that's just my thing). And another thing. Corona is NOT the "drinko for the cinco". For shame Corona. For shame. As if adding an O makes something Spanish.

Second-o, it seems that the hives that I had when I woke up Thursday morning at 6 am and had to epi-pen myself for, refuse to go away. That's right, 96 hours later and they are open and down my arms and legs. It could be worse I suppose. They could spread to the nether region again. That, my friends, is never a comfortable situation. You would think that after all this time, and all these doctor visits later, someone could find something to blame this all on. Cheryl at work wants me to take a infectious parasite cleanse. Seems iffy. "Make sure you have some time off, because it can do weird stuff to your body." Isn't that my problem already? Thursday morning I was about 15 minutes away from calling 911 because the chest pains were so bad and my throat swelled up to the point where I was gagging on my own spit and then throwing it up. I need something weirder to happen? I don't think so. Maybe when the insurance changes again, I'll try allergist #3.

New link on the side bar. Seems that the Barenaked Ladies are blogging through the creation of their new album. I think it's pretty cool.

Used Johhny Mathis "Merry Christmas" on Amazon for $3.95??? Come to papa! Shop around. That's a bargain, no matter what. I would almost pay that much for Rick Astley. Good thing I don't have to and someone already got it for me at the Dollar Tree. I don't know if I have ever properly thanked you for that one. Don't worry, it's coming.
