Let me explain. No, that will take to long. Let me sum up.
Wednesday afternoon was an interview at Mosquito Hill Nature Preserve for a part-time event/volunteer coordinator. It was an hour long and a panel interview where three people peppered me with questions. All in all, I felt very positive.
Thursday was night class (almost done...almost done...), and then I tried to sleep. Fell asleep about 2:30 and then woke up at 5:45 am Friday morning. Don't ask why. I was so tired I forgot my haircut (deepest apologies Mrs. Jones) and went to my sister's to help her re-roof her house. Here's where it starts to get fun.
I took the dog and she immediately went into the breezeway and pissed all over the floor. She's so smart. So she got tied up outside while we worked. At lunch I went to check in on her and saw that she was filthy. And oh wait, she smelled like shit. That's because the re-re of a dog I have rolled around in my sister's dog's shit. I was, and still am, very confused.
I made my way back home for dinner, and to give the dog a bath before work. When I got home there was a letter from Mosquito Hill. Come to find out there is someone else with better coordinating skills. But not to worry, as they invited me back to enjoy the preserve whenever I want. Thanks.
Got the dog bathed, and went to work. Round about midnight I was taking about the recycling out and to make a long story short (too late) I sliced my leg open and had to go to the emergency room. Now, if you're ever in need of an emergency room in Oshkosh, avoid the Auroa as they are "Opening Soon". Not soon enough. So I had to go to Mercy and wait three hours to get patched up. I tired to get Deni to stop at Supreme on the way there. She was worried about porn in a religious hospital. I said we could find something with a religious name... "The Passion", "Mary Magdeline and the 12 Disciples" but it was a no go. Anyway, nine stiches later and a tetnous shot later, and I have decided that Friday was my most favorite day ever.
