It was my dad's birthday over the weekend, and I actually took off two days from both jobs and the whole family made it up to Door County for the weekend. It was very nice, and relaxing. Happy Birthday Old Man!!! (It's ok, I can say that. He doesn't really read this site.)
In other news, you are looking at (or more exactly reading the words of), the nominee for Menard's Employee of the Week. You could be a little more excited for me. I mean I know it will be tough road ahead and all. I just have to beat out the inanimate carbon rod. Stupid rod.
(I said 'rod'.)
And in other final holiday news: I will be working the P on St. Pat's Day with Wally. That should be fun. And more importantly, today is St. Urho's Day. I bet you all forgot. So in Urho's honor:
