Last night was my dad's retirement and my first limo ride. If you have the chance, I highly recommend. Riding in a limo I mean. We picked him up from his party at The Bar and took the ride out to Ted's Grandview. Very nice. At dinner we had escargot and oysters on the half shell. Let me tell you, one of the funniest things in the world is watching beloved family members trying to get down an oyster. There was only one downspot of the evening and that was the fact that I had arrived at the bar too late to have any chicken wings. Mmmmmmmmm...messy.
Congrats dad!
In other news, I saw Mr. Jones new baby the other day. And now I kind of want one (keeping in mind that the "baby" is a motorcycle, not an actual offspring).

BNL is releasing a Christmas album and I am VERY excited. If you haven't heard their version of "We Three Kings" you're dumb. Plus they do a kick ass version of Baby It's Cold Outside, Green Christmas and It's Christmas Time.
