"Christmas is here again, stand up and cheer again..."
It may be over for some, but here I sit, on the 6th day of Christmas. No gold rings, no swans a-swimming. Thanks.
Anyway, the holidays were fantastic. Highlights? Many. The best? The family was sitting around my brother's house, feeling full after brunch and drinking rather large mimosas when someone brought up rhymes from childhood. And for the life of us, we couldn't get off the "Boys go to Mars to get more candy bars, Girls go to Jupiter to get more stupider" line out or our heads and then we came up with variations. Now most of you know my wife. For those that don't: quiet, demure. So out of nowhere, she says to me, she says, "Boys go to Uranus, and get told No". Tears of laughter.
So what did we learn? Mimosas = Fun.
It's New Year's Eve. Line 'em up boys!
