So first, the new job. Imperial is going well. I really like the company and what they have to offer me. There are other things about the job that I don't care for, but all in all, it's much better than Menard's. Plus I have some weekends off. I can't tell you how nice it is to stay home every other weekend and just watch movies. Though I can tell you how disappointed I have been with my movie rentals lately. Here's a quick summary:

1. Napolean Dynamite: I liked it, though I'm not sure that I get it. B-
2. Garden State: Turned it off 20 minutes into it. F
3. The Terminal: Tom Hanks, the Zeta-Jones. C
4. Kill Bill Vol II: Liked the first one better, but still, not bad. B

So the last couple of rentals have been a let down. I almost had to put in a claymation movie to get me over the hump. Sweet, sweet Burl Ives.

School is going well, though it is starting to take its toll. Class, and work and life are really starting to make me feel old. So to that end, C and I are going on vacation. Nothing big, but this weekend we are going to MI. We're going to sit around and not do anything. The biggest thing we're doing is having fondue one night. That might not sound too exciting to any of you, but the last time we went anywhere was in July when we went to Milwaukee to the Zoo and the Domes. The time before that was last March when we went to MI. I know, I know. We're a bunch of crazy, mad-capped kids. I'm just so damn tired all the time. I can't wait for this.

There are other things to post about, like the 45 year-old guy in my class that still wears his class ring, and the lady who's head flops around like a bobble-head on speed. I swear to God, she looks like a baby in the hands of a British nanny. But there are other times for that.

Finally, I'm going to add some links on the left soon. Important things that I think you should know. Until then:

Music I think you're dumb if you're not listening to: Todd Snider Live - Near Truths + Hotel Roms
