So here I sit on the edge of the cliff. One foot firmly planted on the ground of part-time jobs and bartending with one foot hanging over the chasm of reliable hours and paid vacation. It sounds odd, but it's a little scary.

So tomorrow I start a new chapter of my life. Inside sales and lots of phone time, and all before I'm 30. So the question is... what to do with my last day of freedom, before I start what has been called my first 'real job'. Laundry is always a good place to start. I shoveled snow, and I watched Buffy this morning so that was nice. I'm thinking about a nap this afternoon, though other things might pop up. Lunch is in the works. I'm not sure where yet, but I am going out to lunch. Not The Bar though, as I was told by my new boss, that we will be going out to The Bar tomorrow. Ahhhhh, life is good (or has the possibility to become so). I was also told that after training, I have the option of going to a 7-4 work day. Suck on that, you bunch of suckity sucks. If that sounded like gloating, it wasn't. It was more bragging/astonishment. Paid vacation, done by 4, and no lumber to stock. I should have done this sooner.

How did my other job end up? I had some...issues... with the management at the end. If you want to know more, I'll be happy to tell you some time. My blog really isn't the best place to vent these particular rants. Needless to say, I'm no longer Employee of the Month for October of last year.
