So we're back. We made it. No real big news on the flights. The rest of the trip is another story. There is entirely too much to post at once, so I'm going to post in little installments. And to start, I give you the resort:

We were booked in the Blue Bay Marina in Cancun, Mexico (in the state of Quintana Roo for those of you keeping track). After three flights and a very long taxi ride (costing $42 - thank you very much), we arrived at our destination. We went to check in, and were asked: "Of course we have a room for you, but we are a little overbooked. So since you're over 21, and don't have any kids...could we up-grade you to our sister resort that is meant for adults only?" Same food and drink rules apply (all inclusive), but there are three pools instead of one, and six restaurants instead of two. We were not overly excited by this as we have been traveling all day, but we agreed. Chris was tired and wanted a room, and we had only driven through the slums, so her overall idea of the city was not glowing. But we did it anyway. So we get a little brochure to look at while we're sitting at the bar, drinking heavily, and waiting for the paperwork to go through. It was kind of funny that many of the women in said brochure didn't seem to have a top on. There was some kind of funky wave graphic throughout the brochure that always covered all the boob-al areas. Upon reading a little more, we also found that there was a pool that sponsored "racy games" for adults.

So we arrive at the sister resort "Blue Bay Getaway". If you didn't see it coming:

TOPLESS!!

That's right. Boobies everywhere! In the racy pool, in the quiet pool and on the beach. Everywhere you went. Boobies, boobies, boobies. Chris commented that there were obviously no Catholics at the resort.

Plenty of Episcopalians though.

For the next installment, we'll cover the two channels of porn in the bedroom and the "other" sister resort.
